"I cut my skull this morning."

I picked up this skull mini album a few weeks ago. Finally got around to picking out some papers and starting this.

The New Zealand Christmas Tree.

Getting ready to go skating. Knee pads, ankle pads and wrist pads.
I fell once going down a slop with the wind pushing me. We have booked some lessons next week and will learn how to stop.

Action shot!

M and P got a Croc Quadricycle for two. I got squeeshed in the middle. Apart from the wind it was fun.

Picture Post

Yesterday we went down to the Waterfront at 7pm. Saw the waterskiers and racers.

The container yard is in the background. Lovely looking cloud.

I love the colours of this shot. Used the scenery setting. Looking towards Oriental Bay.

Gorgeous colours!

The life boat has sprung a big leak!

The life boat is in there.

This is an old boat that was built and came from Scotland that has stayed in Wellington Harbour. Normally this boat does nothing but last night they had the engines on and the steam hooting out.

FIREWORKS! I took a couple videos so will upload them in a while.

EDIT:
All 4 short videos are HERE. Make sure you have the volume on as there is music.

Labour Day

Monday was a gorgeous holiday. It was about 18 degrees and wonderfully sunny.

After grabbing a morning coffee we went down to the Waterfront and walked all the way to Te Papa. At Te Papa there were some old firetrucks and new ones.

Below Frank Kitts park is this water sculpture. You can tell when it's summer - the water will be running.
Eating lunch at the Waterfront.

Just outside Te Papa we saw a Rescue Helicopter.

Saturday Pictures

On Saturday we went up on the train to Paraparaumu. Mom has a few courses to do there so we went to find the actual place she has to go to. It was extremely hot!

Statue of Mary.

As soon as the train left the station for Wellington it started to rain. A lot.
Yesterday was Labour Day so we all went for a walk along the waterfront to Te Papa and came home when the wind got cold.
